May Martinez
Eco Connects

May Martinez has loved nature since she was a child. She took a Bachelor in Environmental Science at Acadia University and a Masters in Environmental Studies at Dalhousie University. After working with two environmental non-profits, she started listening to an inner voice that gave her guidance. She developed a belief that this voice was from God. After two hospital visits, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She enrolled in a self-employment program called Go 3D for people with disabilities and started a business called Eco Connects. It is an ecological landscaping and sustainability coaching and consulting business. She also offers life coaching for voice-hearers. May takes time to be in nature every day to help with her mental health and as part of her spiritual practice.
