Are you interested in how science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs experiences can inspire the next generation of scientists and environmental leaders? Join us for a webinar with shark scientist and environmental educator Hunter Hogan, who will share the story of Terranaut Club including who they are, what they do, and why they're so passionate about creating accessible STEM opportunities for girls and underrepresented genders (girls+).

Hunter will highlight some of Terranaut Club’s most exciting programs from recent years, including outdoor, experiential learning in marine biology, environmental science, conservation, and data science, all led by women in STEM. She will also share insights from participant surveys and discuss the real impacts these programs are having on youth, from increased confidence to stronger interest in STEM and environmental leadership.

Hunter Hogan - Executive Director, Terranaut Club

Hunter Hogan is a shark scientist and environmental educator with a passion for making science accessible and impactful.

She earned her Master of Science from Acadia University in 2025, where her research focused on mercury contamination in coastal shark species in South Florida and the role of science communication in translating academic research to communities that need it most.

Hunter has worked with Terranaut Club for six years and is deeply committed to supporting girls+ in pursuing careers and leadership roles in STEM and environmental science.
