Our Water Caucus Steering Committee meets behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly within the water caucus, and to complete the logistical tasks that arise with the operations of a caucus.

The Watershed Working Group will hold it’s monthly meeting and debris the discussion with the minister of NSECC and talk about our goals headed into the new year.
This event is an opportunity for folks to learn more about river restoration, ask questions, and meet the teams working to support healthy rivers and resilient communities. All are welcome!

We'll be discussing our work and three liming projects on the eastern shore: Moser River, West River and East River Sheet Harbour.
The NS Water Caucus has been relaunched for 1 year! With the Watershed Working Group’s successful start-up, we are excited to get another Working Group up and running. The Outreach and Events Committee has the potential to grow our Caucus, reach further audiences, and organize workshops for the group. We have many great ideas and are ready to put them into motion.
The Watershed Working Group is organising a discussion with the Minister of Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change about a NS Watershed Alliance. After learning about the PEI Alliance, with core funding provided by the government, we believe that a similar model in NS which supports the already ongoing efforts across NGO’s would be beneficial
